BluEyes Prototype

Downloadable is the prototype for the movement system for our game BluEyes. Because it's a platformer game focused on momentum and flowy feel, getting those physics right was one of the first things we wanted to do. Pictured on the right is some of the concept art for characters and environment tiles.

The prototype controls are WASD to move, Spacebar to jump, and Left click to do an action according to your eye color, which you can switch with Right click. Blue eyes lets you climb up the blue highlighted walls with left click, and Red eyes lets you rocket jump in the direction directly away from your cursor. You can jump off of walls with spacebar, and holding S will make you fall faster. Touching the red X box's will reset you to your last touched checkpoint, which are the red/green flags.
